Let us know! We will get your measurements and your order on its way.
Once you order your dresses, we will be in contact with a delivery day! We ship out as soon as the entirety of your order can be fulfilled, so depending on our current queue, you will receive your shipment 8-21 days after placing your order. After confirming your delivery and arrival day, we will get your package boxed up, sent out, and on its way! You will then have three (3) days from your sample arrival date to *safely* prance around your living room before you send them back (with a prepaid label, of course).

Some tidbits and tips:
- The most common confusion in the Home Try-On process is sizing–we get it! Just like in our studio, the dress(es) you receive will be sample sizes. While we ask for size requests from you, we can’t guarantee they will be available. In those cases, we will always send 1-2 sizes larger than you requested, and clips will be there to make it fit as perfectly.
- To make your experience as close to the studio as possible, you can set up a virtual appointment before, during, or after your dress try-on. We will help you clip, measure, and ensure you and your gals pop the champagne when you say “YES!”
- A prepaid return label, measuring tape, dress clips, and an “I Said Yes” sign will be included in your box! We just ask that you return it all exactly as it came.
Cost Breakdown and Shipping Information:
The cost for the USA is $65 per dress, Canada is $165 per dress, and Europe is $165 per dress. A temporary hold ($1000 for 1 dress, $1500 for 2 dresses, $2000 for 3 dresses, and $2500 if trying 4 dresses) will be placed on your credit card until we receive the dresses back at our Torrance studio.
We will cover the cost of standard shipping in the continental U.S. Need it expedited? Shoot us an email with what you’re looking for, where you live, and when you need the samples, and we will send you a quote for the dresses and shipping.
If you live in Hawaii or Alaska, there will be an additional $80 charge for shipping. UPS charges us an additional fee, so unfortunately, we have to charge you.
COMMON HOME TRY-ON QUESTIONS
Your Loan-me service is genius, can you tell me more?
I ordered the dress with ivory liner, but a dress with nude liner was sent to me
Can the dresses be delivered on an exact date?
I requested a size 4, but a size 8 was sent, can you send another?
Will I be refunded the home try-on fee if I purchase the dress?
IN ADDITION TO THE $50 LOAN FEE PER DRESS, THERE IS ANOTHER CHARGE. WHAT IS THIS?
The amount in question is a temporary hold. If trying 1 dress, there is a $1000 hold. If trying 2 dresses, there is a $1500 hold. If trying 3 dresses, there is a $2000 hold. If trying 4 dresses, there is a $2500 hold. We remove the amount held once we receive the dresses back in the original condition sent. If you are trying one sample, you will see a hold of $1,000 on your credit card.
COULD I HAVE FEDEX/UPS REDIRECT OR HOLD THE PACKAGE?
WHAT HAPPENS IF I KEEP THE DRESS OVER 48 HOURS?
We would love to have you keep the dress(es) as long as possible. We are a small company and have many brides using our home try-on to say YES to their dress. We only have enough samples to allow a 48-hour try-on. If you keep the dress above the 48-hour window, we charge $50 per dress, per day.
I RECEIVED THE DRESS, AND WHILE IT IS BEAUTIFUL, IT IS NOT FOR ME. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
We wish you could have found ‘the-one’ with us. Send the dress back as outlined in our policy. Once we receive the dress back in the original condition we sent it to you, we will remove the temporary hold placed on your card. The $50 per dress loan fee initially paid is non-refundable.
WILL I GET THE HOME TRY-ON CREDIT ON SAMPLE SALE DRESSES?
Return Policy
Unfortunately, as all of our items are made-to-measure and made-to-order, we do not accept returns. We take pride in our work, and triple check and inspect all items prior to shipping. In the unlikely event, there is a defective item shipped to you, we will repair this for you.
For your convenience, we offer in-person fittings in our Torrance, CA studio by appointment. We also offer a loan-me program, which allows you to try the dress in the comfort of your own home, prior to committing. Additionally, we can send fabric swatches out to you as per your request.
In the event of unforeseen events, cancellations can be done within 48 hours of the order being placed. After 48 hours have passed, cancellations will not be accepted, as your order would have already been processed.

Terms and Conditions
This agreement serves as a confirmation of your Dreamers & Lovers item, which is made to order. Please review the following order agreement form as your final order confirmation. All made-to-order items are final sale once the order has been placed into production. If you wish to cancel for any reason, there is a 24-hour grace period between your order and the commencement of production. No changes can be made once your order has been put into production. The order is considered a final sale once the 24-hour grace period has passed. If you placed this order mistakenly or need to cancel within 24 hours of the order’s being placed, please contact [email protected] or call (424) 448-2161.
SAMPLE SALE DRESSES
All sample sale dresses are sold as-is and are non-refundable. If you opt to try on a sample sale dress using our home try-on service, please note that the home try-on credit does not apply.
HOME TRY-ON
Home Try-on fees are non-refundable. You can cancel a home try-on order before it is shipped. We offer a complimentary home try-on fee credit if you order one of the dresses within four weeks of receiving the sample. Full information can be found under the home try-on FAQ.

I RECEIVE MY DRESS, AND I LOVE IT, BUT I NEED AN ALTERATION DONE?
Some made-to-measure dresses will still require minor alterations. Alterations are typical to get the perfect fit, and usually easy to work on. The great news is the dress is made with alterations in mind. An experienced seamstress or tailor will be able to perfect your dress with ease.

The perfect fit is vital when it comes to your gown. Whether you choose a made-to-measure or a standard size, minor alterations are a normal part of the process. The excellent news is that the alterations will be minimal if you choose to have the dress made to your measurements.

Ordering your dress early protects your order from price increases and design changes. You will have time to send updated measurements before your wedding dress is finalized.

WHAT IS MADE-TO-MEASURE?
Dreamers & Lovers is obsessed with FIT. When you order a made-to-measure dress, we use about 15 of your unique measurement to craft the dress to fit your body. This is custom-made for you, made to fit you from scratch. The dress is created specifically for you from beginning to end.
Our made-to-measure is complimentary but has longer turnaround times.
WHAT IS A STANDARD SIZED DRESS?
A standard sized dress is made to our standard sizing on our chart. If your measurements align with a size 8, you would confidently order a size 8. Great news, we do offer custom sleeve-length and dress-length for you if you need it. These two customizations does not affect the 6-8 weeks turnaround time.

I'M PLANNING TO ORDER A STANDARD SIZE, BUT I'M BETWEEN TWO SIZES?
If you are ordering a standard-size dress in between two sizes, we recommend ordering the larger one. It’s easier to alter a dress down than to let it out. Sometimes, if a dress is too small, you may be unable to alter it.
CAN YOU SEND ME A SAMPLE TO TRY ON?
Sure thing, more than 50% of our brides are finding us and buying online after using our home try-on service. Home try-on is genius because we are a small company, and brides love it. You can try up to three dresses at home. Home try-on info can be found further up on this page; the information page.
